Rates

As with any law firm, our rates are negotiable and will vary depending on both the complexity of your case and on the number of hours necessary to effectively handle your case. In an effort to conform with our mission statement, we offer the following rate scale. The rates listed below are general quotes and we do not agree to be bound by these rates. All rates listed below will be discussed at an initial consultation. Once the consultation has occurred, we will send you an engagement letter if we feel that we can effectively handle your legal matter. Below is a list of our standard fees:

Real Estate

Loan closings: $350.00 lot & block property
$450.00 metes & bounds property
$250.00 cash closing

Deeds:

$45.00 per deed - lot and block
$60.00 per deed - metes and bounds

Title Insurance:

$3.50 per $1,000.00 (owner's policy)
$2.50 per $1,000.00 (refinanced loans)
$50.00 for additional polices (such as owner's policies)

Title Search and Review:

$90.00 if updated abstract provided
$125.00 if updated abstract is not provided

Title Opinion:

$150.00 (no title insurance provided)

Real Estate Consultation and Drafting:

$75.00 Land Sales Contracts
$125.00 Assumption Agreements
$250.00 Evictions (incl. court appearances)
$150.00 Buy-Sale Agreements (Contracts for Sale)
$500.00 Foreclosures (not incl. newspaper publication and title search)

Real Estate Litigation:

$150.00 per hour (no charge for initial consultation). Includes boundary disputes, title insurance issues and quite title actions.

Bankruptcy -Creditors:

$150.00 per hour (all types of creditor representation)

Debtors:

$500.00 Chapter 7 (plus filing fee)

Business Bankruptcy (Chapter 11):

$250.00 per hour

Trial Work -General trial work, personal injury, fraud cases, financial institutions, boundary disputes & general real estate, insurance bad faith and business disputes.

40% contingency fee or
$150.00 per hour (depending upon complexity of case)

Incorporations, Partnerships, LLCs & LLPs:

$500.00 Incorporation (plus filing fee)
$400.00 Partnership Agreements (plus filing fee)
$500.00 LLC Agreements (plus filing fee)
$500.00 LLP Agreements (plus filing fee)

Consultations

Initial Consultation: $50.00. Thereafter, $150.00 per hour.

Wills, Probate & Estate Planning

$125.00 Simple Will (one person)
$250.00 Simple Will (couple)
$750.00 Probate Simple Estate (with will, plus court filing fees)
$1,000.00 Probate Simple Estate (without will, plus court filing fees)

Hourly fees for the following:

$150.00 per hour- Estate planning, probate complicated wills or wills with trusts, contested wills, and any other contested probate matters.

Collections

1/3 of any amount collected

Uncontested Divorce

$400.00 (no children, no real estate, plus filing fee)
